Well, it took me one whole day to run this site before I started talking about the baby. God forbid the internet go one day without someone talking about a white man who has influence over a woman, right? Stupid white male baby.
Anyway, the point is, babies sometimes can be hilarious when it comes to what makes them sad (as I'm sure you could glean from that first paragraph.) I learned that the day, a few weeks into his existence, the baby emitted a noisy baby-fart and then cried at his own sound. Maybe I was exhausted, maybe I was slap-happy, maybe I was just a little bit tired of catering to his every whim, but when that happened, I laughed. I laughed right in his baby face, for a long time.
Anyway, here are some other times where I have laughed at my or other babies' distress:
When I sneezed and the baby cried.
The time I put the baby down to crawl in the grass and he cried with one hand in the air, unwilling to put it down in the terrifying grass.
The time I jumped in the pool and sprang out to surprise the baby and he cried.
The time I looked at my friend's baby Felix weird and then he cried.
Another time when I laughed too loud and Felix cried.
When I showed my friend's baby Mara a stuffed piece of talking bacon and demonstrated the way he says "I'M BACON!" and she cried.
My friend Jason and Robin's kid doing this when they tried to do "bike to work week":

And finally, this, the time my daycare lady put a homemade Uncle Sam hat on my kid:

So we're back to the kangaroo site?
My daughter just turned two a couple months ago, and just about everything that makes her cry now makes me laugh - even things that probably hurt her (a little), like when a little boy tried to hug her and instead tackled her. She bumped her head, but it was absolutely classic.
I also have a four month old son, and he doesn't actually cry that much other than when he is hungry or tired, but when he does, it's usually because he's stuck, which is pretty much every time we put him down. He's an accomplished roller, but there comes a point he can roll no more, and that's just freaking hilarious.
