List: My frozen foods

IMG_0305.JPGLast time I was pregnant I didn't expect the unexpected, which is to say I was surprise-induced three weeks early. This meant that when Paul was born, his room wasn't ready, I had prepared no food ahead of time, and, obviously, worst of all, my nails and eyebrows were a mess. This time, at least on the food front, I'm ready (or, as ready as I'll ever be.) I feel a weird sense of pride seeing everything all stacked up in my fridge in nice flat plastic bags. This must be what those moms who power-pump, or, maybe more accurately, doomsday preppers, feel like. Here's what awaits us:

Turkey chili

Creamy chicken tortellini soup (and garlic bread)

Pulled pork

Red beans and rice [I use the America's Test Kitchen recipe which is my favorite that I've found but they password protected the one that I use. Inquire within if you have questions.]

Chicken meatballs

If I'm able to summon extra energy I may try to make a few more things, so if you have any suggestions on foods that "freeze beautifully" as they always say, especially ones that don't take too much work, I am open!
