- If you weren't
able to make it out to the literary reading series I host and curate,
Funny Ha-Ha, you can check out this
wonderfully detailed and complimentary writeup from Literary Chicago
(although I would like to think I'm much cuter than I look in the photo
of me, but maybe I'm wrong.)
- Have you always wanted to be an
unpaid extra in a music video starring some of Chicago's greatest female
comedic talents? Steve Delahoyde is directing a music video for
comedian Natalie
Kossar's song "Stereotype," which will also feature comedian Cameron
Esposito. They're in desperate need of a room full of people for a
scene, so if you're free for a couple of hours this Saturday from
11am-2pm, come to Gorilla Tango Theater (1919 N. Milwaukee Avenue) and
make history (also, free food and drink!). Just show up or write to sdelahoyde@gmail.com
to let him know you'll be there.
- Finally, if you want to read what I wrote about what was on the TV last night, you can check out my writeup of Showtime's "The Franchise" here and FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" here. Yes, I am into both baseball and dancing--educate yourself to this reality!
Missed Funny Ha-Ha: Hot Stuff? Live vicariously through it here! Plus, a call for help.
