Today is the day to be sooooo cute.

As you may or may not know, I have had the experience of writing about a particular teenager lately, and will be doing so for the next three years. My teenager is a lovely person but getting her to open up sometimes can be a lesson in trial and error. Here are some questions I've found that most young teenagers do not like to answer:

"Are you mad that adults think they know everything?"

"Aren't you excited that you can commit murder now and you won't be sentenced to death?"

"Have you found a date for the dance yet?"

"Have you thought about what job you're going to get when you graduate from college? What college are you going to, by the way? What's your major? Have you updated your resume lately?"

"Do you and your friends 'cut' yourselves? Does it hurt?"

"How is your generation going to define itself? I mean, is there any way you can compete with mine?"

"Have you done your homework yet, young lady?"

"Do you think Scott likes me? Omigod, I think he's totally cute."

"Why is your skin so broken out? Are you on your peeeeerrrioooooddd?"

"Does it bother you that you can't drink, drive, smoke, vote, have sex, get married, buy porn, gamble, rent a car, see an R-rated movie or join the army?"
