Today is the day to cling to the helicopter as it lifts off.

Good news/bad news.

Good news: we now have DSL in our apartment, which means that (bad news) I can be online all the time. Even worse news: technology is hard. Sometimes my computer goes nuts. Zulkey.com is in some potentially risky times, computer-screwing-up wise. Like, for instance, last night, for no reason, I lost the file that contained October 8th's entry, a list involving reasons why I would not be a good spam writer. It was hilarious, and now it's gone, gone forever. Just great.

Anytime there is a mistake, or even a typo, blame it on the computer. And SBC Ameritech. And Saddam Hussein.

Good thing, though, I still got today's list together. Ok, I didn't really do it. My neighbor did. But hey, if you find your name on this list (I'm looking in your directions, Luis, Hoppy, Zanie and Hilda), why don't you email her and tell her how special you feel? She is one of those children of America, so let's keep it full of hope and with none of that postmodern cynicism we all love so much.
