Today is the day to get a tattoo on your neck.

Do you ever get really busy and think to yourself, "I would give anything for a quiet weekend at home, to relax," and then when you do have one, you think, "Ok, that was pretty lame."? No?

On Wednesday I received an interesting piece of spam from a young lass named Nichole, and responded, posting my email on Thursday's entry. Apparently, I am not the only person who has been marked as a lucky potential suitor by Nichole--other people have been receiving mail from her as well.

So I had an idea; since Nichole is such a lovely, outgoing person, we should all take care to write her back. If you have received spam from her, or even if you haven't, send your (PG-13-rated) response to me, and next week, we'll send them all back to her en masse.

Or, we will send them to one of those sites that publishes funny email exchanges. There are some out there, I hear.

At the very least, I'll publish all responses on Monday.

Anyway, getting the ball rolling is Wayne Lewis, hailing from Flak Magazine and California. In case you've forgotten, however, here is Nichole's original epistle, followed by Wayne's response:

I have to say that my feelings are hurt. From the tone and content of your message, it seems that you think I'm a special kind of guy. This would normally be flattering and mean a lot to me. However, a friend of mine just recently shared with me a message you sent... and it had, in fact, the same text. Exactly the same.

I would thank you to think twice before you toy with people's emotions.

There are a lot of lonely people in the world for whom a message from a seemingly friendly and vivacious young woman such as yourself could mean a lot. It's very hurtful to see that you just send these messages around as if you don't care who receives them.
