Today is the day to wonder: how exactly does one bat one's eyes?
Better stop sobbing now. It's Tuesday.
Pills and Soap
Pills:
1. Centrum-Every once in a while I decide that taking a multivitamin regularly
will make me Healthy. I usually quit because I notice no discernible difference
in my health, and those big fat orange pills taste like plastic.
2. Vitamin C-As a last-ditch effort for when I'm sick.
3. Echinacea-Not unlike the Centrum, at one point I thought that if I took
it regularly, I would stay healthy forever. I quit when I caught a cold.
4. Allegra-This will make me tolerate my friend Sarah's cats and make me less
of a mutant during allergy season. Thus far I have been taking it regularly
even though it costs $25 a month.
5. Tylenol P.M.-Because sometimes I just need to drink four Diet Pepsi's after
I get home from work.
Soap:
1. Eucalyptus-I received this as a Christmas present. It's made by Bllisslabs,
is green, and very refreshing-smelling in an herbally way. When I first got
it it was about the size of my foot; now it's about the size of my hand. Maybe
it'll be the one thing I finish this year.
2. Mint exfoliating-This is also a Christmas present, and also from Blisslabs.
It is white and pepperminty and when I first got it it had these cool nubs
at the bottom to make it scrubbier (but those have since washed away.) I use
it after cleaning with Purifying Soap Salt and Hot Salt Scrub, or, I sometimes
use it to try to scrub away ink on my hand.
3. Sweet pea-This was another gift (yes, that's the dirty secret of Claire
Zulkey: I don't buy my own soap.) This time from my friend Fielding, who has
a charming tendency to refer to her loved ones as "Sweet Pea." It
smells delicious and flowery and I use it with its accompanying lotion when
I want to smell like a lady, not a tree or a stick of gum.
