The Jonathon "The Impaler" Sharkey Interview: Just Over Twenty Questions

How did you get the nickname "The Impaler"?
I took it from Romanian Prince Vlad Tepes Dracula. My father’s mothers family is from Romania.

Which leaders from American history do you most wish to emulate?
Ronald W. Reagan and John F. Kennedy

How do you plan to engage Christian voters who might be turned off by your beliefs? You say on your website, "I despise and hate the Christian God the Father. He
is my enemy."
A lot of Christians enjoy the fact I am honest. At least I haven’t trashed Jesus. Hopefully they will be open to my platform.

Do you think it’s just a coincidence that there is a connection between Minnesota’s politicians and wrestling, or does the sport speak somehow to the nature of the state?
Wrestlers and athletes are smarter than what most people think.

Are you still planning on making your NASCAR debut?
How are you preparing for it?
Yes. I am testing at a local track.

NASCAR is still not terribly popular in here Chicago, where I live, so I know very little about the sport. I’ve always wondered: what about it qualifies it as a sport?
Race car drivers are athletes, just like football, baseball, and other sports. If anything, drivers are required to be in better shape then most athletes

How did you choose governor as the office you’d run for?
After marrying Julie, I was telling people about my campaign for president (2008), and a lot of them told me they wished I’d run for governor. So, I presented it to the executive board of the VWP Party and they agreed it would be good of me to run.

Why does 2008 seem like the ideal time to run for president? If you don’t make it to the ballot, who would you hope to see on there?
I will be on the ballot. Hence, there is no one else I rather see on the ballot than me.

How did you become active with MADD?
My former fiancee had a problem (and still does) of drink and driving. Hence, I decided to take an active role in MADD Indiana, to help others prevent this criminal act.

According to your website, your first spell ever was a Death Curse. How did you cast this, on whom, and what was the result?
My mother was a Hecate Witch, and through her I learn how to do curses. I did a curse on one of my uncles, and he died a while later. It was a painful death. I am glad, he deserved it.

How did you come to be friendly with Jeb Bush?
In 1994 I was working on his first campaign for governor with the Hillsborough Republican Party (Tampa, FL). I was also involved with his 1998 campaign for governor as well. I stayed in touch with him over the years.

Do you have any good stories from your career as a model?
Just great sex with very sexy models. I didn’t do many shoots, because I was too busy fighting. I met some very sexy models, and the stories would be X-Rated.

Is there a difference between a vampire and a vampyre or is it just a spelling preference?
Spelling preference. In old Romania it was spelled VAMPYRE and I like that spelling.

What is the biggest misconception held about vampires?
We are not evil creatures of the night. We can go out in the day light. Not all Vamps are sanguinarian feeders.

What is the difference between a vampire and a sanguinarian?
Sang is a blood feeder. Not all Vamps are blood feeders. Some feed off of Psychic energy.

Are there any unexpected similarities between your current faith and your original, Roman Catholicism?
Catholic profess cannibalism and blood feeding during a mass. Hence, they are in one way they are worse, than us blood feeders.

You say that you don’t have a problem with pro wrestlers using steroids. You have a pretty firm stance though against illegal drugs: if you were elected, would you provide any input on the use of steroids by professional athletes?
Wrestlers take worse body punishment than any other athlete. Hence, steroids are good or building up muscle mass, that can protect their bodies from injuries.

What is a Magikal Path Name? It says on your website that yours is Lord Ares.
It is your name used related to what your represent. You carry the qualities of your name.

What inspired your "thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor" stance?
The Ten Commandments.

Regarding impalement: you believe it should be used as a method of execution for criminals. Would you like to see the method perfected so as to be as quick and ‘humane’ as possible, or does that defeat the purpose?
The punishment will fit the crime. When a man rapes a woman or child, they are scared for life. Hence, why should they be allowed to enjoy their life after getting out of jail, while the victim(s) are still carrying the scares from their attacks.
