James' favorite bedtime song for the last four months has been "Jingle Bells." Sometimes I like to change it up and sing something different, like the song I deemed to be his song, "I Can See Clearly Now" by Jonny Nash ("Sweet Baby James," lyrics are too hard to remember.)
The other night I decided to sing my song, and began with the first verse, which we all know:
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright, bright bright
Sunshiny day.
So, give this a hard pause at no later than :046 and imagine someone yelling the following--
James: YOU DID THAT ALREADY.
I WANT JINGLE BELLS.
Sleep tight, you precious little angel!
