When Paul was born I lovingly curated a very long playlist of music I thought was important to expose him to. I dutifully played it for him every day until I realized that, um, kids don't seem to get music for at least the first six months of their lives, probably even more. This footage of him dancing to "Walking on Sunshine" when he was a little under a year is my first memory of him seeming to get what rhythm is:
Anyway, I'm happy to say that with time he's actually become a bit of a music guy: he can identify a song the second time he hears one and likes a lot of the same music I do (and maybe more importantly, I like a lot of the same music he does.)
