I am coming out of hiding this Thursday to take part in a fun event at Chicago's Book Cellar! Alongside other local children's authors Kate Hannigan (Cupcake Cousins #2, The Detective's Assistant), Wendy McClure, (Escape to World's Fair), Pat Zietlow Miller (Wherever You Go) and Jacob Grant (Little Bird's Bad Word), we will be reading from and dicussing what it's like to write for young folk, and signing books as well! Come on out if any of the following things sound good to you:

• kids' entertainment
• learning about the art and craft of children's lit
• getting to know fun and friendly local authors
• drinking in a book shop
