I'm in a "Key and Peele" cartoon and so are most people I know

I never really realized this until it happened but I've always wanted to be a cartoon. Actually, scratch that: I wanted to be a cartoon that was a flattering rendition of me. Because for every animated Bjork or Madonna there's an animated Stockard Channing and it would suck to have your cartoon version look worse than you do in real life.

Anyway, I had no idea that this was happening until I was alerted to it on Facebook but I--along with my friends/collaborators Erica Reid, Fuzzy Gerdes, Steve Delahoyde, and Jordan Morris, are in an unaired Key & Peele sketch (which features, of course, Zulkey.com interviewee Keegan-Michael Key) that was animated by my friends Dan Henrick and Kate OLeary.

Here's the sketch (which is ridiculous), and you can see us at 2:09:

Yes, we are background characters, so we don't appear for that long. Here's a still: Screen Shot 2015-03-19 at 4.06.10 PM copy.png

I'm the third from the left. The thing I like the second-most about this cartoon is that it actually looks like me, yet it's flattering, especially as I slowly develop my own gravitational pull during these last few months of pregnancy. (It's kind of embarrassing though how Erica and I showed up wearing the same dress.)

The thing I like most about this though is that the scene is called "Aliens on the Run."
