Tonight I will be on air (720-AM for those of you in Chicago--you can listen online if you are not) with the amazing Amy Guth in the 8-9 PM CST hour to promote an upcoming reading she and I are doing at the Book Cellar. We'll be joined by the fabulous Jen Lancaster and Stacey Ballis and Wendy McClure. It'll be a really fun, smart, chit-chatty time so tune in!
October 16 at Witty Women Writers! This annual event at the Book Cellar is always a hoot--the ladies above and I will get together and read some funny pieces, but not before the Book Cellar's delightful owner, Suzy Takacs, leads us all in a new song that she wrote just for us. This show always gets crowded so show up early to get a seat!
October 29 at Miss Spoken! I am super excited to do this all-lady live lit show for the first time at the Gallery Cabaret. I'll be reading as part of the Halloween show. It says "Adult themes and language encouraged," so you know it'll be a rowdy time.
