I'm having the kind of holiday where every single person I run into has a present for me yet it didn't occur to me to buy or make something cute or tasty or interesting or whatever for hardly anyone. So I am full of gratitude towards those who are so thoughtful and kind and suitably chagrined at my own lack of preparedness.
