Happy birthday to my brother Jack. He's a king today!

Here are some events I'll be doing that I'm psyched about: maybe you can come!

June 4 in Washington DC
If you're reading this and you graduated from Georgetown University in 2001 (or 1991, or 1901, or what have you), you should come check out the blogging panel I'll be on with fellow classmate and Zulkey.com interviewee Melissa Anelli. Other panelists include Christina Logothetis, (F'03), image consultant and founder of the blog "The Style of Politics" and James Kotecki (F'07), writer, blogger and strategist at Kotecki, LLC, contributor to the Huffington Post and CampusSplash, and the writer, creator, writer and producer of several web series including YouTube.com/EmergencyCheese. This event will be moderated by Garrett Graff, a faculty member in the Master of Professional Studies in Public Relations and Corporate Communications program and editor-at-large for Washingtonian Magazine. It's from 2-3 PM at the Intercultural Center. Come and make me feel like I'm not a total failure. Check out more details here.

Todd Zuniga let me co-produce this fun literary event from Opium and I basically just asked some of my funniest friends to participate. Enjoy readings from Amy Guth, Samantha Irby, Johanna Stein and Ian Belknap, judging from Kate James and me and hosting from Todd Zuniga and Dennis DiClaudio. 7-8:30 at the Hideout. Find out more here.

The last time I attended Paper Machete I kind of got an afternoon weekend buzz on while listening to some thought-provoking work. This time I'll be reading, alongside my friend Scott Smith and the impressive (and Zulkey-interviewed) Alex Kotlowitz. Learn more about the show and Paper Machete in general here.
