So you may remember that recently I had a mini contest, wherein I invited you guys to come up with good ideas for the best way to use my old business cards. The winner was Rehan Nasir, and engineer in Indiana who suggested that they could make a nice lighting fixture. I thought this was an amusing idea and sent him the cards, along with some goodies like manly soap and Cadbury mini eggs.

Little did I know that Rehan is apparently an actual engineer, and not just one in the way that I like to tell people that I'm a doctor or a lawyer. Yesterday he dropped off my wonderful new lamp, rigged up to go and everything. I thought those of you who followed the contest religiously should see the fruits of his labor...later today I'll put up a photo of it all lit up and everything. Way to go Rehan! I can't wait to see what you make when you're getting paid in something other than sugar!
