For my job covering the radio and podcast listings for Time Out Chicago, last week I tuned into a local hip hop station for a few days that I stopped listening to because ever since it got bought by an evil corporation, they quit even pretending like they were playing a random assortment of songs. At prety much exactly the same times every day, I'd hear the same songs. Amongst them is an amazing song by a fellow named MIMS ("Music Is My Savior") called "This Is Why I'm Hot." I don't know what MIMS' album is like but if this song is any representative I'd say it makes "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band" look like a huge turd. The lyrics are especially fulfilling--I even learned a lot about myself as I listened to. I'd like to share my newfound knowledge with you:
A Questionnaire:
According to MIMS, Are You Hot?
1.) Are you fly?
2.) Are you not?
Key:
If you answered "yes" to question #1, then yes, you are hot. Congratulations!
If you answered "yes", to question #2, then we are sorry to tell you this, but you ain't hot.
