Today is the day to wish me a happy birthday!

Today I turn 24. I always thought 24 was a good age to be. You're still in your early twenties, so you're still young, but not quite young enough that people don't take you seriously. Hopefully.

Anyway, to celebrate, here is a completely fictional biography of me, thanks to these guys.

But just because it's my birthday doesn't mean we can't have a special birthday list this Tuesday. This weekend, I threw a party for myself that included a delicious cake baked by my friend Sarah. Sarah enjoys the company of my friend Nathan, partially due to his lovely singing voice. One of Sarah's favorite songs that she requests Nathan to sing is the theme from the "Greatest American Hero."

We decided that since that song is so fun and uplifting, it should be the new birthday song, rather than the boring old "Happy Birthday To You..." So it was sung during the blowing of the candles, and may I tell you, I have not been so mirthful blowing out candles in many a time.

Thus: Away with the birthday song! Let's make some new songs the birthday songs! It's easy! Just take your favorite songs, hopefully powerfully moving and uplifting ones, and insert your name wherever applicable!
