Today is the day to feel sorry for yourself.

As I mentioned last week, Zulkey.com is now about a year old, and a small celebration is in order. Of course, Zulkey.com is a bit more than a year old as we speak, but I decided to celebrate the week of my first Zulkey.com interview (yes,'decided', not 'completely forgot that it was my anniversary'.)

What to do, I thought? Change the look of my site? (Too much effort.) Have readers write in stories of how I'm so great? (Tempting, but too self-indulgent.) Nothing? (Now you're cooking with gas!)

No, I decided to have a week dedicated to my sisters: the other Claires out there (and they are out there.) A week with a name that sprang easily to mind, especially since this name was thought up over a year ago. In honor of the first year of Zulkey.com, today I kick off:

We Are Claire, You Are Not Week at Zulkey.com

It will be an evolving beast of a festival, and if it falls on its face, well, there's always next week to recover from it. What I can say is that there will be more Claires featured on this site than ever before, and perhaps even more than any place in the history of the world (this is done with no fact-checking.)

If your name isn't Claire, don't fret! You can still help out! Did you ever know any noteworthy, insane, or totally bitchy Claire/Clare/Clairs? Ever have the desire to write fan fiction about "The Breakfast Club" or "The Cosby Show"? Were you almost ever named Claire? If you have anything "Claire" related--anything, these doors are wide open--send it to me.
