This fall my husband Steve Delahoyde shot "The Strangest Christmas Yet," a music video for Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers. As you can imagine, this was really exciting for us as people who grew up enjoying Steve Martin's humor and admiring his constant creative evolution. Steve D. packed up a bunch of our Christmas decorations in addition to my parents' artificial Christmas tree and spent over a week in North Carolina preparing for and then doing the shoot. Luckily the happiness I derived from telling people "He's doing a music video with Steve Martin" superceded any frustration I might have had single-parenting it for that long (and luckily the kids were healthy and my work manageable enough that it wasn't a big deal.)

The video came out yesterday and here it is. Finally, Steve and Steve -- and my parents' Christmas tree -- together!
