Steve and I are into the BBC show Black Mirror, which is sort of like a 21st century Twilight Zone. Like The Twilight Zone, however, sometimes it's too discomfiting for me. I put a kibosh on watching it right before bed. But with that said, I have some great ideas for future episodes, should they choose to make them:

There is a creepy baby and it's controlled by an iPhone and its adopted by some infertile parents and eventually all infertile parents everywhere start adopting these creepy phone-babies. But then the companies keep rolling out new version of the creepy baby so people start resenting their old creepy babies and throw them out and line up for new creepy babies and there is a landfill full of these disregarded old creepy babies and they're all saying in robot voices "Mummy? Mummy?" while there are children in orphanages just getting older and angrier.

There is a reality TV cooking competition but instead of people cooking food the food cooks people. And it's a hit!

Everyone is on a weird diet where all you eat are computer parts and sometimes you need to "update your software" but if you're not plugged in when it happens, you die. But everybody looks fabulous.

Kids have pet drones but then the drones start controlling the kids and the kids start making war on their adults who invented the drones and the adults are like "Oh no, they've turned against us!" Also the kids have adorable British accents and are dressed very nicely.

There is a website where you can design order your soul mate but the return process is prohitively complicated. But it's very popular and everyone uses it, driving small independent stores out of business.

There is a new beauty routine where women inject chemicals into their eyeballs but you have to go on a black market to buy produce and if you get caught doing it you get murdered via a reality show and everybody watches while injecting chemicals into their eyeballs.

One man's "smart" thermostat knows everything about him and then he falls in love with a human woman and then he gets cooked alive in his sleep.

All humans live in boxes and we're trapped in the boxes but we can watch everybody in the boxes but the boxes are actually TELEVISIONS and you can make people do things by hitting the ON-DEMAND button on your remote control and also there are monsters who randomly eat the people in the boxes sometimes and those are the highest-rated episodes.

There is a new reality where the richer and more educated people are, the more they decide to think and behave like poor, uneducated people from centuries ago. And everyone lives in houses that look the same.
