List: TV shows to watch in bed

2094058654_0848ae6f46_o.jpg title=I know you're not supposed to fall asleep watching TV in bed; it's bad for your circadian rhythms, it's bad for your relationships, etc. But whatever: sometimes--frequently, maybe--dozing off in front of a TV show is the best, most comforting thing there is. However, Steve and I came to a conundrum: we'd run out of shows to watch. Our favorite, 30 Rock, was getting watched to death, which was what had happened to our previous bed-TV show, Arrested Development. Other shows that we'd gone through included Curb Your Enthusiasm and Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist. So clearly, we prefer half-hour comedies. Steve sometimes likes to fall asleep to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia but I prefer that show as an awake-watching show, since I think it's so loud and nasty (in a good way!)

Anyway, happily for me, Friends recently came out on Netflix and Steve has agreed to let it be our bedtime show--for some reason I feel nervous about that, because he never watched it during its heyday and if he hates it, I'll feel like it's my responsibility, but that's another post for another day--the "Better Late Than Never?" look at Friends.
