Today is the day to hula.

What's something that you used to do all the time as a kid and suddenly stopped? My Dad takes charge of my website and reminisces and you should do the same, so drop me an email with your story.

Book By Its Cover Review: The Liger

This may be a controversial review and for that I apologize. It's also less than timely but call it lite summer 'fare.'

For those of you who are not in the know, a liger is a combination lion/tiger, which is actually renowned more for, "skills in magic" than anything else. The most famous legend of the liger was bred in the movie "Napoleon Dynamite," and here is its most famous depiction.

However, this rocketed the animal into fame, and now in a horrible biological twist, apparently ligers exist outside the realm of movies, too. See?

Now I know what you're thinking. Could there possibly be anything wrong with such a winning combination? Stripes plus mane plus skills plus magic?

I know, but stop, please and consider this.

Put these animals together and you may have twice the skills in magic, but also, twice the mauling. Thus I give the liger a thumbs down.
