I apologize once again for the sporadic posting over the last few weeks but I'm back now, in time to finish the week! You may notice that you have some trouble accessing the archives, but I'll be working on that slowly and will provide updates as that comes along.

In case you've been missing my incredibly insightful thoughts on dance-related reality TV shows, good news! I am now covering "So You Think You Can Dance" for the LA Times. You can keep track of my thoughts here. (Actually the show is pretty cute. And I am in love with the host, Cat Deeley. She is cuter than gift-wrapped puppies at Christmastime.)

Tomorrow also marks the return of the interviews: Joshua Ferris, author of Then We Came to the End, that book with all the Post-Its on the cover that you've seen advertised everywhere. You'll want to check it out!

Also, please check out my friend Matt Wood's blog which has been kicked into high gear for the summer. He's a guy who isn't afraid to acknowledge what an aphrodisiac he is when he walks down the street with his baby and his dog.

And finally, you may remember that before I left I had a contest in the works: finish that film! Steve Delahoyde and Waki Gamez created a very serious short film about an angry priest but it has no conclusion. I've received some suggestions thus far but wanted to put up a refresher. Email me your suggestions for how the film should play out: I'll put up the suggestions on Wednesday the 6th and the winner will have his film shot by these two masters. Here's the film in case you forgot:

Oh and pssst to you Chicagoans. Tentatively save the date of August 21. There seems to be a whiff of Ha-Ha in the air....
